Monaliza’s Lingerie is a BC PharmaCare–approved device provider for mastectomy prostheses and post-surgical compression garments in British Columbia.

Eligible patients may purchase approved mastectomy and lymphedema-related products from Monaliza’s Lingerie in-store or online and submit a PharmaCare-specific invoice for partial or full reimbursement through BC PharmaCare, depending on individual eligibility.

Important: BC PharmaCare will only reimburse mastectomy supplies when they are purchased from a PharmaCare-approved provider, such as Monaliza’s Lingerie.

What Is Covered by BC PharmaCare?

BC PharmaCare provides coverage for select mastectomy and lymphedema medical devices when medically required following breast cancer surgery.

Coverage is determined by:

  • Household income

  • Fair PharmaCare deductible and family maximum

  • Product-specific reimbursement limits

Coverage amounts vary by patient.

How BC PharmaCare Mastectomy Coverage Works

  1. Purchase eligible mastectomy or compression products from Monaliza’s Lingerie

  2. Receive a PharmaCare-specific invoice with the correct PIN codes

  3. Submit the invoice to BC PharmaCare

  4. Reimbursement is issued according to your individual coverage level

Why Purchase from a BC PharmaCare–Approved Provider?

BC PharmaCare does not reimburse mastectomy supplies purchased from non-approved retailers.

PharmaCare approval is a regulated status that is limited, monitored, and not granted to general retailers.
Only approved device providers are authorized to issue official PharmaCare-compliant invoices required for reimbursement.

Breast Prostheses (Mastectomy & Lumpectomy)

  • One prosthesis per side every two (2) years, or earlier if the manufacturer’s warranty expires

  • Maximum reimbursement:

    • $450 for mastectomy prosthesis

    • $350 for lumpectomy prosthesis

Note:
Exceptions to the two-year replacement limit may be approved. BC PharmaCare pre-approval is required for early replacement.

Lymphedema Compression Arm Sleeves

  • Two (2) sleeves per mastectomy, per year

  • Reimbursed at the regular retail price

Lymphedema Gloves or Gauntlets

  • Two (2) gloves or gauntlets per mastectomy, per year

  • Maximum reimbursement:

    • $150 for off-the-shelf products

    • $300 for custom-fit products
